居酒屋　『竹蔵』は間口の狭い狭小地に計画された建物です。

商業地でありながら周辺には住宅が立ち並んでいる事もあり、そのスケール感を損なう事無く、ひっそりと佇む隠れ家の様な建物を目指した。

内部は建物の狭さを感じさせない様に縦方向へのボリュームを取り、そこへ一部中2階を挿入している。

また狭小地でありながら入口まわりに余白のスペースを設け、門を【くぐる】という動作を伴なう事により建物に感覚的な奥行を生じさせ、更には空間としての豊かさを演出している。

 

The japanese-style bar "Takezo" is a building planned to have a narrow frontage in a narrow area.
Although it is in a commercial land and lined with houses, it doesn't look too small but looks like a secret retreat.
Its internal has a longitudinal space which doesn't make people feel narrowness and is inserted by the second floor. In addition, its entrance is provided with a margin space, when [going through] the door, it makes people feel its enough depth and rich space.
